Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 80% of its assets in common stocks, with at least 65% normally in dividend-paying companies' common stocks; this 80% policy may be changed with at least 60 days' prior written notice to shareholders. It seeks to provide a portfolio with a dividend yield that, over time, is at or above the average of the Russell 1000 Value Index. While investing primarily in U.S. securities, it may invest up to 20% of total assets in foreign securities, including emerging markets. It may use derivatives such as futures and options, and may write covered call options to generate income.
