Fund Description

The fund seeks to track the performance of an index measuring the stock performance of large- and mid-cap companies in developed countries outside the U.S. It typically invests at least 80% of net assets in index stocks, aiming to replicate holdings in the same proportions or use an optimization sampling approach designed to approximate the index's industry weights, market capitalizations, and characteristics such as price-to-book, price-to-earnings, debt-to-asset ratios, and dividend yields. Results may differ from the index due to operating expenses and other overhead. It may lend securities up to 30% of total assets, collateralized by cash or U.S. government-related securities, and may use derivatives such as futures and total return swaps to track the index.
