Fund Description
The fund invests in a diverse range of fixed income securities with various maturities, yields, and qualities, allocating at least 80% of its assets in bonds. These include corporate bonds, U.S. Treasury obligations, and asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities, typically with a maturity of 90 days or more at issuance. Primarily focused on U.S. dollar-denominated bonds, it may also invest up to 10% in non-U.S. dollar-denominated bonds. The fund maintains a dollar-weighted average maturity of 4 to 12 years but may adjust under certain market conditions. Investment-grade securities are prioritized, with a limit of 5% for non-investment-grade securities. Additionally, the fund can utilize derivatives and take short positions in TBA securities.
