Fund Description
The fund was incepted in June 1990 and is managed by The Vanguard Group. The objective of this fund is to seek long-term growth of capital. The fund attempts to match the investment results of the unmanaged Morgan Stanley Capital International Europe Index, which is made up of stocks from 15 European countries. The fund holds all of the stocks in the index in proportion to their weighting in the index. The fund remains fully invested at all times and does not speculate on the direction of the market. Though the fund seeks to match the index, its performance typically can be expected to fall short by a small percentage representing operating costs. The fund distributes dividends and capital gains in December.
