Fund Description
The fund was incepted in May 1984 and is managed by Wellington Management Company. The objective of this fund is to seek long-term growth of capital and dividend income. The fund invests in common stocks of companies in a variety of segments of the health-care industry. Its selections may include pharmaceutical firms, designers and manufacturers of medical equipment and supplies, operators of hospitals and other health-care facilities, and biotechnological researchers. The fund seeks a balanced representation of the industry. The fund distributes dividends and capital gains annually in December.
