Fund Description
The fund was incepted in May 1998 and is managed by the Vanguard Group. The objective of the fund is to seek the investment returns of the S&P Small Cap 600/BARRA Value Index, which measures the performance of the stocks in the S&P Small Cap 600 Index with the lowest price-to-book value ratio. The fund provides a convenient way to match the performance of a diversified group of small value companies. The fund distributes a dividend in December.
