Fund Description
Incepted in March 1985, this fund is managed by Evergreen Investment Management Company. The objective of this fund is to provide current income free from federal income tax other than the alternative minimum tax. The fund invests at least 80% of its total assets in tax-exempt municipal securities across all quality ratings, maturity ranges and types of issues. The fund offers dividends every month and capital gains annually.
