Fund Description

Incepted in December 1968, this fund is managed by Vanguard Group, Wellington Management Company and Franklin Portfolio Associates. The objective of this fund is to seek long-term growth of capital. The fund invests mainly in the stocks of large and medium-size U.S. companies whose revenues or earnings are expected to grow faster than those of the average company in the market. The fund also invests, to a lesser extent, in stocks of smaller companies with similar characteristics. The fund distributes dividends and capital gains in December.
