Fund Description
Vanguard Pennsylvania Long-Term Tax-Exempt Fund was incepted in April 1986 and is managed by the Vanguard Group. The objective of the fund is to seek a high level of income exempt from both federal and Pennsylvania personal income taxes. The fund invests primarily in high quality, long-term municipal bonds issued by Pennsylvania's state and local governments and regional governmental authorities. The fund expects to maintain an average maturity between 15 and 25 years. The fund declares dividends on daily basis and distributes on the first business day of each month. Capital gains are distributed in December.
