Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in equity investments, primarily in foreign companies of various market capitalizations, including foreign subsidiaries of U.S. companies. It may invest in common and preferred stock, convertible securities, trust or partnership interests, depositary receipts, and warrants and rights, and may hold securities denominated in U.S. dollars, major reserve currencies, or other local currencies. It seeks diversification across at least three non-U.S. countries, but may concentrate in one region or country. Currency forwards may manage exposure relative to the MSCI EAFE Index, and exchange-traded futures may be used for cash-flow management. The adviser evaluates the yield and potential growth of investments and may adjust emphasis on security type, sector, country or currency based on economic factors; as part of its investment process, the adviser seeks to assess the impact of ESG factors on many issuers and analyzes key opportunities and risks across industries.
