Fund Description
The fund invests in a diversified portfolio of Vanguard mutual funds, employing an asset allocation strategy that targets approximately 40% of its assets in fixed income securities and 60% in common stocks. Specifically, it aims for an allocation of 36% to U.S. stocks, 28% to U.S. fixed income securities, 24% to foreign stocks, and 12% to foreign fixed income securities. Its indirect stock holdings comprise a varied mix of U.S. and foreign large-, mid-, and small-cap stocks.
