Fund Description
The fund employs an indexing investment approach aimed at tracking the performance of the Bloomberg U.S. 0-5 Year Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) Index. This Index is a market-capitalization-weighted index that comprises inflation-protected public obligations issued by the U.S. Treasury, specifically with remaining maturities of less than five years. To replicate the Index, the fund invests all, or substantially all, of its assets in the securities that constitute the Index, maintaining each security in approximately the same proportion as its weighting. The fund also maintains a dollar-weighted average maturity aligned with that of the Index, which was 2.5 years as of September 30, 2024.
