Fund Description
The fund invests approximately 50% to 55% of its assets in municipal securities, with the remainder allocated to common stocks. Its fixed income portion focuses on high-quality municipal securities, maintaining a dollar-weighted average maturity between 6 and 12 years. At least 75% of the municipal bonds purchased are required to be rated in one of the top three credit-rating categories by independent agencies or deemed comparably high-quality if unrated. Stock selections are drawn from the Russell 1000 Index, which comprises large- and mid-cap U.S. companies. The fund employs statistical sampling methods to enhance capital gains and income tax efficiency while closely mirroring the Index's characteristics and performance.
