Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities, typically common stock, of companies tied economically to emerging market countries. Qualifying companies may be listed on an exchange in an emerging market country, have at least 50% of assets there, or derive at least 50% of revenues or profits from goods produced or sold, investments made, or services performed there. It generally holds 30 to 50 companies, using quantitative screening and bottom-up fundamental analysis, including company visits and management meetings, without allocation models by region, country, or industry. It may focus in certain sectors or regions, is non-diversified, and may invest in IPOs and early stage companies.
