Fund Description

Under normal market conditions, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes) in the equity securities, typically common stock, of companies of all market capitalizations tied economically to India. Qualifying companies may be listed on an Indian exchange, have at least 50% of assets in India, or derive at least 50% of revenues or profits from India-related activities, and may be located in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, or Sri Lanka. It uses quantitative screening and bottom-up fundamental analysis, may invest a large percentage of assets in a few sectors, is non-diversified, and may invest in IPOs.
