Fund Description
The fund was incepted in July 1998 and is managed by Wells Fargo Funds Management. Wells Capital Management is the sub-advisor. The fund seeks to maximize income while maintaining prospects for capital appreciation. The fund invests primarily in fixed-income securities, including foreign government and corporate securities, high-yield corporate bonds, mortgage-backed securities, U.S. Government bonds and income producing equity securities. The fund may invest up to 50% of assets in securities rated below investment grade and up to 25% in foreign securities. The fund offers dividends monthly. Capital gains are distributed annually.
