Fund Description

The fund was incepted in November 1994 and is managed by Wells Fargo Funds Management. Wells Capital Management is the sub-advisor. The objective of this fund is to seek long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests in common stocks of growth-oriented companies whose market capitalizations fall within the range of the Russell 2000 Index1. The fund holds at least 20 common stock issues across multiple industry groups and sectors that exhibit rapid, consistent and sustainable earnings growth characteristics. The fund targets firms that demonstrate a competitive advantage, capable management teams and effective strategies for continued growth at compelling valuations. The fund offers dividends and capital gains annually.
