Fund Description

Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of net assets in "real return" assets: global inflation-protected debt securities (which may include foreign government securities), global real estate-related securities, and commodity/natural resource-related securities. It will invest in real estate companies, such as REITs that own property and mortgage REITs, and may invest in equity, debt or convertible securities of companies whose products and services are related to the real estate industry. Commodity exposure may be gained through investment companies, ETFs, futures, forward currency exchange contracts, currency futures and swaps, and may be substantial. It uses a multi-manager approach, may invest up to 55% in foreign securities and in small-cap companies, WTIA may invest directly in cash or cash equivalents and repurchase agreements secured by U.S. Government securities, and it may trade actively and frequently.
