The company focuses on leveraging local business and community ties to the five major metropolitan areas of Texas — Dallas, Houston, Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio. All of its business activities are conducted through its bank subsidiary. The company was founded in November 1996, and commenced operations in December 1998.
