Global Wealth Management provides financial services globally to wealthy private clients. It develops advice-based relationships through its financial advisors, delivering a fully integrated set of wealth management solutions designed to address the needs of high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and families.
Investment Bank offers services including investment banking and capital markets, research, equities and foreign exchange through two business units – Corporate Client Solutions and Investor Client Services.
Asset Management is a large-scale asset manager with businesses diversified across regions, capabilities and distribution channel.
Personal & Corporate Banking division offers comprehensive financial products and services to its retail, corporate and institutional clients in Switzerland.
Non-Core and Legacy division includes businesses not directly aligned with the company’s strategy and policies.
Group Items comprises group services such as, technology, corporate services, human resources, finance, legal, risk Control, compliance, regulatory & governance, along with group treasury portfolio.
On Jun 12, 2023, UBS Group AG completed the acquisition of Credit Suisse in an all-share deal. As a result of the merger, Credit Suisse shareholders received one UBS Group AG share for every 22.48 outstanding shares held.
In third-quarter 2022, the company divested its wholly owned subsidiary UBS Swiss Financial Advisers AG and its domestic wealth management business in Spain, resulting in a pre-tax gain of $86 million and $133 million, respectively, in the Global Wealth Management segment.
