In March 2021, Voya announced several updates where the Retirement and Employee Benefits segments were renamed to Wealth Solutions and Health Solutions, respectively. It will continue to provide its principal products and services through three segments: Wealth Solutions, Investment Management and Health Solutions.
Wealth Solutions (40.6% of 2023 Total adjusted operating revenues): This segment is a leading provider of retirement solutions in the United States. It is focused on meeting the needs of individuals in preparing for and sustaining a secure retirement through employer-sponsored retirement plans and services, as well as through individual account rollover plans and comprehensive financial product offerings and advisory services. It is well poised in the marketplace.
Health Solutions (45.1%): This is the sixth-ranked provider of medical stop loss coverage in the United States based on in-force premiums. It provides group insurance products to mid-size and large corporate employers and professional associations. In addition, it serves the voluntary worksite market by providing individual and payroll-deduction products to employees of its clients. It is among the largest writers of medical stop loss coverage.
Investment Management (13.4%): It serves both individual and institutional customers, offering them domestic and international fixed income, equity, multi-asset and alternative investment products and solutions across a range of geographies, investment styles and capitalization spectrums.
