Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of net assets in a broad range of debt securities of any maturity or credit quality, including below-investment-grade "junk" bonds (rated below BBB- by S&P or Baa3 by Moody's, or unrated but considered comparable by the Adviser). It may also invest in investment-grade corporate bonds, asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities (including commercially backed), sovereign and emerging market debt (U.S. dollar and non-U.S. dollar denominated), preferred stock, other funds, and other securities. It may use derivatives, including U.S. Treasury futures, to manage duration and may invest in foreign and emerging market issuers. The Adviser uses fundamental and other research techniques to select securities.
