Fund Description

AIM Intermediate Government Fund, A Shares was incepted in April 1987 and is managed by A I M Advisors. The objective of this fund is to achieve a high level of current income consistent with reasonable concern for safety of principal by investing in debt securities issued, guaranteed, or otherwise backed by the U.S. Government. The fund invests at least 80% of net assets in debt securities issued, guaranteed, or otherwise backed by the U.S. Government. The fund pays dividends monthly. The fund distributes long-term and short-term capital gains annually.
