Fund Description

The fund was incepted in July 1994 and is managed by National City Investment Management Company. The fund seeks to provide current income and preserve capital by investing in a portfolio of investment grade fixed income securities. The fund invests in U.S. government, corporate, mortgage-backed, and asset-backed fixed income securities. While the management team can select any investment grade opportunity, they tend to concentrate the fund in AAA rated asset-backed securities that offer higher income and returns than equivalently rated U.S. Treasury securities. The fund offers dividends monthly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
