Fund Description

The fund was incepted in October 1994 and is managed by Investment Concepts, Inc. The fund's main objective is to maximize total return by investing in an actively managed, diversified portfolio of short-term bonds and other fixed income securities. This fund comprises of U.S. Treasury securities, A-rated or higher corporate securities and government guaranteed or AAA-rated mortgage/asset-backed securities. The relative weightings of these three sectors are based on three factors. They are comparison of corporate and mortgage/asset-backed yields to treasury yields, the expected performance of each sector in light of the manager's overall economic outlook, and the average maturity requirements of the fund - less than 3 years for the Short-Term Income Fund. The fund distributes dividends monthly. Capital gains if any, are paid annually.
