Fund Description

The fund was incepted in October 1990 and is managed by Smith Barney Fund Management . The objective of the fund is to seek long-term capital growth. Dividend income, if any, is incidental to this goal. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in the stocks of well-established U.S. large-capital companies with superior management teams, that meet specific quality and growth criteria as measured by factors including, superior revenue growth, earnings growth and consistency, return on equity and balance sheet strength. The fund generally pays dividends and makes capital gain distributions, if any, once a year, typically in December.
