Fund Description

The fund was incepted in February 1998 and is managed by Conseco Capital Management, Inc. The fund seeks high total investment return, consistent with the preservation of capital and prudent investment risk. To pursue this objective, the fund invests approximately 50%-65% of its assets in stocks and other equity securities and the remainder in bonds, fixed income securities as well as in cash and cash equivalents. The exact proportions change according to market conditions, risks and opportunities. The fund declares and pays dividends quarterly. Capital gains are generally declared annually and distributed after the close of the fiscal year.
