Fund Description

The fund seeks current income primarily by investing in various debt securities, emphasizing mortgage-backed securities of all types and maturities, including those backed by the U.S. Government. It may also invest in corporate debt, asset-backed securities, foreign and emerging market securities, inflation-indexed bonds, and high-yield instruments. The portfolio is managed with a controlled risk approach aiming for a dollar-weighted average effective duration of three years or less, subject to fluctuations. At least 80% of its net assets are directed towards bonds and other income-producing securities. The fund may utilize derivatives for hedging, leverage, or exposure management, and it can invest in other funds, including those managed by the Adviser.
