Fund Description

The fund was incepted in November 1995 and is managed by Delaware Management Company. The objective of this fund is to seek a balance of capital appreciation, income and preservation of capital. The fund allocates its assets among a combination of common stocks, various types of fixed income securities, including both U.S. government securities and corporate bonds, and cash equivalents. The fund invests at least 25% of the fund's assets in fixed income securities. Historically, the portfolio consists of 30%-35% bonds. The fund offers dividends quarterly. The fund distributes capital gains in December.
