Fund Description

Incepted in October 1987 and managed by the Fidelity Group, the objective of this fund is to seek a high level of current income, exempt from federal and Connecticut personal income taxes. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its assets in municipal securities whose interest is exempt from federal and Connecticut personal income taxes. It potentially invests more than 25% of total assets in municipal securities that finance similar types of projects. It may invest the fund's assets in municipal debt securities by investing in other funds. The fund offers dividends monthly and capital gains are distributed in the month of January and December.
