Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in common stocks included in the Fidelity U.S. Total Investable Market IndexSM, a float-adjusted, market capitalization-weighted index designed to reflect U.S. equity market performance across large-, mid- and small-cap stocks. It uses statistical sampling based on factors such as capitalization, industry exposures, dividend yield, price-to-earnings and price-to-book ratios, and earnings growth to attempt to replicate index returns. It may lend securities to earn income for the fund.
