Fund Description

The fund was incepted in August 2000 and is managed by Gartmore Global Asset Management Trust. The fund seeks long-term capital growth by investing primarily in equity securities of companies located in emerging market countries such as those in Latin America, Eastern Europe, the Pacific Basin, the Far East and India. To achieve its objective, the fund invests in emerging markets and in companies that the managers believe will have strong economic growth. The managers attempt to avoid markets that they believe might be politically or economically unstable. Dividends are distributed quarterly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
