The fund was incepted in March 2000 and is managed by Gartmore Mutual Fund Capital Trust. The fund seeks to maximize total investment return for a given level of risk. The fund pursues its goal of maximizing total investment return by seeking income and, secondarily, long-term growth of capital. The fund invests in underlying funds. The fund's allocation focuses on bonds and short-term investments while including some stock investments for long-term growth. Dividends are distributed quarterly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
