Fund Description

The fund was incepted in September 1998 and is managed by New York Life Investment Management. The objective of this fund is to seek capital appreciation by investing primarily in securities of large-capitalization companies. Current income is a secondary investment objective. The fund invests primarily in securities of companies with market capitalizations greater than $2 billion and revenues greater than $500 million. The fund advisors focus on companies that they judge to have superior earnings per share growth prospects and above-average or expanding market shares, profit margins and returns on equity. The fund seeks to benefit from the market dominance, higher profit margins and strong cash flow potential of attractively priced blue-chip companies. The fund offers dividends quarterly. Capital gains are distributed in December.
