Fund Description

The fund was incepted in November 1999 and is managed by American Skandia Investment Services, Inc. The investment objective of the fund is to outperform the Standard & Poor's 500 Composite Stock Price Index (the S&P 500) through stock selection resulting in different weightings of common stocks relative to the index. The fund invests, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its assets in securities included in the S&P 500. The fund will not invest more than 15% of its total assets in equity securities of companies not included in the S&P 500. The fund distributes dividends and capital gains annually.
