Fund Description

The fund was incepted in January 2001 and is managed by Union Planters Investment Advisors, Inc. The objective of the fund is to maximize total return through a combination of growth of capital and current income consistent with preservation of capital. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 25% of its total assets in fixed-income securities and not more than 75% of its total assets in equity securities for growth, income and relative stability. The fund may invest up to 10% of its total assets in securities rated below investment grade and in any kind of debt security issued by private corporations or the U.S. Government. The fund declares dividends daily and pays them quarterly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed at least annually.
