Fund Description

The fund was incepted in February 1984 and is managed by PIMCO Advisors. The objective of this fund is to seek long-term growth of capital with income as an incidental consideration. The fund invests at least 65% of its assets in common stocks of 'growth' companies with market capitalization of at least $5 billion at the time of investment. The portfolio manager seeks to identify companies with well-defined 'wealth creating' characteristics, including superior earnings growth (relative to companies in the same industry or the market as a whole), high profitability and consistent, predictable earnings. The fund offers dividends annually.
