Fund Description

The fund was incepted in March 2001 and is managed by Principal Management Corporation. The fund seeks a total return consisting of long-term growth of capital and current income. The fund invests in shares of other Principal Investors Funds (the underlying funds). The underlying funds are intended to give the fund broad exposure to the domestic and foreign equity and fixed-income markets. Currently, approximately 25% of the fund's assets are invested in equity securities and 75% in fixed-income securities. Dividends and capital gains are distributed annually.
