Fund Description

The fund was incepted in November 1992 and is managed by Standish Mellon. The fund seeks to provide a high level of interest income exempt from Massachusetts and federal income taxes, while seeking preservation of shareholders capital. The fund invests, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of net assets in tax-exempt municipal securities of Massachusetts?s issuers and other qualifying issuers (such as Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam). Dividends are declared daily and are distributed monthly. Capital gains are distributed annually.
