Fund Description

The fund was incepted in May 1999 and is managed by J&W Seligman & Co. Inc. The fund seeks to produce maximum current income. The fund invests at least 80% of the value of its total assets in high-yielding income-producing corporate bonds. The fund may invest up to 20% of its total assets in a range of high-yield, medium and lower quality corporate notes, short-term money market instruments, U.S. government debt and cash. The fund may also invest up to 15% of its net assets in illiquid securities. Dividends and capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
