Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in fixed-income securities and seeks to maintain a minimum average portfolio quality of A. It can include a wide range of securities, such as corporate bonds, U.S. Government securities, and mortgage-related securities, along with exposure to non-U.S. Dollar denominated foreign securities, limited to 25% of total assets. The fund may also invest in below investment grade securities, with a cap of 5% in those rated CCC. It aims for an effective duration of three to seven years and utilizes interest rate forecasting to manage interest rate risk. Additionally, currency transactions can be executed through various methods, although hedging strategies may be selectively employed.
