Fund Description

The fund was incepted in September 1969 and is managed by Sentinel Advisors Company. The fund seeks growth of capital, by focusing its investments on common stocks of mid-sized growing companies that the advisor believe have favorable growth potential and attractive pricing in relation to this growth potential, as well as experienced and capable management. The fund invests primarily in stocks with market capitalizations, at the time of purchase, within the range from the stock with the lowest market capitalization which is included in the Standard & Poor's 400 Midcap Index or the Russell Midcap Index, up to and including 1.2 times the market capitalization of the largest company included in either of such indices. Dividends are distributed annually. Capital gains are distributed in December, following the November 30th fiscal year-end.
