Fund Description

The fund was incepted in December 1993 and is managed by Sit Investment Associates, Inc. The fund seeks long-term capital growth consistent with preservation of principal and seeks to provide shareholders with regular income. The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing in a diversified portfolio of stocks and bonds. The fund invests between 35% and 65% of its assets in common stocks and between 35% and 65% in fixed-income securities. The fund's allocation of assets varies over time in response to the adviser's evaluation of present and anticipated market and economic conditions. The fund distributes its dividends quarterly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
