Fund Description

The fund generally invests in stocks included in the MSCI EAFE Index and, under normal circumstances, invests at least 80% of net assets (including any borrowings for investment purposes) in these stocks, typically at a considerably higher percentage. It seeks to replicate index performance by matching index weightings, but may overweight or underweight positions to avoid odd-lots, for tax reasons, or to address liquidity, and may trade ahead of index additions or removals. It does not hedge foreign currency exposure, though it may use forward contracts for settlement. It may use derivatives, principally futures, and lend securities to help reduce tracking gap, and may concentrate as the index does.
