Fund Description

The fund is a fund of funds that primarily invests in Class W shares of other Nuveen mutual funds and various investment products, including exchange-traded funds (ETFs) advised by Teachers Advisors, LLC, or its affiliates. It targets investors nearing retirement in 2025, gradually adjusting from aggressive to conservative investments over time. The fund aims to allocate approximately 49% to equity Underlying Funds and 51% to fixed-income Underlying Funds, with target allocations changing towards a final mix of about 20% equity and 80% fixed-income by 2055. It diversifies across multiple market sectors, including U.S. and international equities and various fixed-income instruments, to reflect a balanced and evolving investment strategy suitable for systematic withdrawals during retirement.
