Further, in order to boost shareholders confidence in the company, it engages in frequent share repurchase programs and pays regular quarterly dividends. However, competitive environment, raw material costs, weak demand and complex industry conditions are few headwinds that the company is facing. Also, a rise in gasoline prices and interest rates might lead to weakening the demand for its original equipment and consumer replacement tires in the United States and Europe.
